iPod touch Background dimensions?

I want to create my own background for my itouch. What are the dimensions? My thinking is 1:1.5, but I can't find any info to confirm this.

I like making my own, here is one I made yesterday. I took the photo last week, just needed to know the size so I could use it as a back ground.
