It shows up as an external drive, and there is a way to make it work with iTunes here (http://www.ridesforall.com/archit/sansaitunes/index.html) but you cant use the software that came with it (Sansa Media Converter)

Here are mine 3! I've had my touch since October! It's also jailbroken and I use it the most and I have 3 movies like 300 songs and like 10 TV shows and still 2 GB's left on my 8GB. Check out the background on my touch!

My 5th gen sitting in it's home. I am might pick up a used 16 gig touch tonight. That will give me a new toy for the weekend..

Possibly use as a pda? I have no idea why I even want the freaking thing..

its makes a great pda. esp the note app.

plus you can stop and watch a movie, or listen to a song while you jot down your agenda.:D

I don't remember my first one but it was twice the size and had two slots for 8 MB flashcards. Couldn't even fit an entire album on and it used a serial connection.

I keep my iPod in a silicone case ALL THE TIME, and it still seems to get scratched a lot, I don't know how...

I stay away from silicone cases. Since they're able to shift so much, the dirt that gets in them rubs against the iPod and scratches it.

I gave mine to a "girlfriend" *term as in she is a friend who is a girl* because she had a large music library and only a 2GB Nano.

It even had my name and the day I got it (my birthday) engraved on it.

I used to use a screenless PB as an iPod. It was a Titanium so it was not that heavy. 1 GB RAM and 80 GB HD. Just mapped the f keys to the controls. Had great built in speakers. Then I used a Palm TX

I have that belkin usb hub dock thing! Does your cut out on you periodicly? Such a pain in the ass - cant complain for 5 bucks though! - Gotta love google shopping.

I never noticed it cutting out. But 5 mins ago, during a time machine backup an error popped up telling me that time machine was disconnected. I noticed that the iPod stopped charging for a short time...

yup that sounds about right, If you do abit of research belkin pulled the docking hub and replaced it with a 7 port usb hub, and a seperate dock.

I dont mind though, like I say it was cheap - but it did sell for 60 bucks new - I'd have the rage if I paid that much!

The 3G died recently and i'm still looking for a way to revive it. Needs a new HDD & Battery. Also have a blue 8GB Nano but its still sealed in box...might be giving it away

After owning every line of the iPod family, the only one I kept is the shuffle for workout. Got the Zune HD in November/December. Very satisfied with it.
