iPod Could Apple do this?

Now that there is a 32gb flash-based iPod, could Apple manufacture an iPod classic about as thin as the current iPod Nano?
 
that would make me buy a ipod classic...but i really don't think so....no hard drive is that thin
 
Yes! but its unlikely apple would reduce the size of the classic to 32gig, my guess, they will replace the classic with an SSD late this year.

and will keep one massive hard drive model, with some wild storage capacity, like 250gb.
