I've tried asking this in the OS X forum, but found no answer.

Is there some kind of Applescript or Terminal command I can use to temporarily remap the input of a few keys? E.g. the "i" or "[" key being pressed registers as the "home" or "end" key, etc. Ideally, I'd like some kind of script that could quickly remap several keys and then allow me to quickly remap them back to normal. If anyone knows a program that could do this, that would be just as useful. I've found a few that can do this for special keys like command, fn, ctrl, etc., but none for ordinary keys. Thanks!
