Does anyone know where the ambient light sensor is on the MBA?

As far as I'm aware, yes it has an ambient light sensor for the backlit keyboard.

It's near the iSight camera.

The OP is asking where it is.

God that's embarassing, I always hate when people do what I just did. I know on the MBP its in the speakears but since the MBA doesn't have speakers like the MBP I'd say the iSight is the correct guess.

It's to the left of the iSight. The microphone is on the right.
(there's a diagram in the MBA Users Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/MacBook_Air_Users_Guide.pdf))

its next to the isight yes... but if you check apple help on the MBA and lookup the ambient light sensor it tells you to look under the speaker -- good luck on that.
