Can anyone recommend a controller (like an xbox controller or similar) that I could use to play games on my mac.

I will be running Windows technically and playing a game called Team Fortress 2 running Steam.

Thanks,

I don't have a recommendation for you, but why do you want a controller to play Team Fortress? A mouse and keyboard is much better for that game.

I'm not really used to playing games with a mouse and keyboard and always have played using a controller.

The characters in the game that I generally play with won't be limited by the "inaccuracy" of using a controller.

I got a Microsoft XBOX 360 Wireless controller with the Windows adaptor add those together with a handy little Mac OSX plug-in and you have a great controller for your Mac!

So you have that setup up and running?

Could you point me in a good direction to look for those 2 items. The adapter and the plug-in.

I already have the xbox controller.

I would be so happy if this all actually works.

So just medic then? (Maybe pyro in a limited capacity?)

I'm curious.

I play with the demolition guy, pyro, medic, and soldier.

The soldier I use to shoot rockets at peoples feet so i don't need to be as accurate, and I suck with the mouse anyway.

Every game I usually play I use a controller

I would get that one, but i want wireless :(
i want to be able to sit in my couch, while my MBP is hooked up to the TV.
I have a bluetooth m&k, but the range sucks.

That won't work for my application. I need to have dual joysticks. Thanks,

I have the same setup as R.Youden and it works perfect. I'm not sure if you need drivers for it to work in Windows.

Here are some with dual sticks. At least one wireless also, but typically I avoid wireless for anything that requires high precision.

Console games typically have a small amount of auto-aim, but computer games don't have auto-aim, so you'll be at a disadvantage.
