Trouble playing old Quicktime files

Hello!

We're having some trouble playing some .mov files that are about four years old. We're running 10.4.11 with QT 7.4.1. I'm told a friend of the user was able to play these files on her machine without a hitch; however, she has QT 7.2.

This files were rendered from AfterEffects, in QT format, using Sorenson 3 compression/codec. Under "More Info" for one of these files I have the following info:

Codecs: Flash, TIFF
Enconding software: Adobe Photoshop 7.0

I've also tried playing these files on DivX and MPlayer, no luck. I don't consider downgrading to QT 7.2 to be an option.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
