Amazing stuff from the most criminally unknown band in the world.
Absolutely brilliant. Liz Fraser has the most unforgettably strange and gorgeous voice in the history of modern music. Period.
Heaven or Las Vegas is still one of my favorite albums of all time. One of the very few records I never tire of. (And it came out, what, 17 years ago?) That's saying something.

EVERYBODY GET THIS SONG NOW!!!
i agree, liz frazer is brilliant. cocteau twins have an immense library of the best ethereal 80s music that came out. Robin Guthries guitar is minimal, layerd heavily, and composed perfectly.
this song is one of my favorites. it evolves from a playful few bars of bells into a painfully nostalgic, celtic feeling love song.
beautiful. a must have band.

Cocteau Twins are good, but "Dead Can Dance" are even better. Any Cocteau Twins fans who haven't heard DCD really ought to check them out. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Duff-Man says...I loved the twins and I am glad I got to see them a few times. I think that overall I like Blue Bell Knoll the best with Treasure and Heaven or Las Vegas not far behind. Liz has an amazing voice for sure and I am curious to see what she comes up with for her solo album (it *is* coming supposedly...eventually)...and Robin Guthrie's recent released have been awesome too if you like the more ambient instrumental stuff....oh yeah!
