Tanya Donelly was the lead singer in Belly -- which is how I discovered her. She was in the Throwing Muses before.

Belly's albums were great... and I loved to see them in concert.

Unfortunately, they broke up... and she has since gone out on her own. She had a baby in the interim which kept her from making albums in the meanwhile.

But this album is a great album (Lovesongs for Underdogs)... and her most recent album is also good (not on itms yet).

In particular... this song though really energizes me. Great in concert too.
