10.5.2 kills my router whenever airport is on

as soon as i installed 10.5.2, my wireless network disappeared.

i restarted my router, no luck. the network has vanished.

i reconfigured the whole thing, and with airport off and my macbook plugged in to the router everything is fine. as soon as i turn airport on, my wireless network shuts off and kicks all connected machines off.

i fiddled with it for 4 hours, nothing is working at all.

i restored from a time machine backup and voila, problem solved. everything is normal again.

what the hell?
