iCal blank after updating to 10.5.2

Following the update to 10.5.2, which seemed to go fine, my iCal is completely blank. No information and no calendars.

Has the link somehow been lost to the data?
 
I deleted the Cache files as mentioned in another thread and everything seemed to return to normal.
