is this normal after installing 10.5.2?

so after installing 10.5.2, as usual, you restart your MBP

and after restarting

and then when entering the grey screen ( with the apple logo )

it restart again itself

so it restart twice, im not sure what happened, is it supposed to be like that or maybe something wrong while it reconfigures the updates upon restarting?

Did that on my mac pro, sometimes with significant security updates etc, it will require this to happen.

perfectly normal for major updates. some crazy unix stuff was probably going on in the background in the first boot then rebooted to a normal startup.
