Time Machine goes crazy with 10.5.2

So after installing 10.5.2, Time Machine is possessed. Sometimes it does a regular backup (<100k bytes), but other times, it wants to do massive backups. Looking at the logs, last night it wanted to back up 4 gigs. Two hours later it had backed up 60 gigs and was still counting up. So I cancelled that backup, and the next hourly one went fine. This morning, it was preparing a backup and was up to 250 GB. I just turned it off.

Any ideas?
