iPod touch How do you get purchased apps back if you had to restore?

My dad has an iPod Touch and purchased the extra programs for 20 bucks. If he wants to restore his iPod, how does he get them back?

Restoring won't affect the paid-for programs. They'll still be there.

Don't forget they need 1.1.3

So if he restores to an earlier version he will need to update to 1.1.3 before the extra programs almost magically reappear.

Yes, and then do a sync. It will then install the purchased apps.
