I've been investigating wine for os x. I downloaded a build of darwine but in the read me it said "YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RUN WINDOWS APPLICATIONS (.exe's) USING USING THIS RELEASE ON POWERPC HARDWARE ." Which is a pain because I have a dual 1.8 G5. Is there a build out there that will let me run simple windows apps on my PPC?

You could always try Virtual PC or some other virtualization to run windows on your PPC. It's not that great, but if you only need it for simple programs it might work for you.

Try "Q", I have windows 2000/sp4 running on a iBook 1.33Mhz ,1.5GB, kind of slow but it does the job, better if you have a faster machine...

(its Free)...

Virtual PC 7 (if you can find it) does not install on Leopard - too old...

cheers...
