No offense, but this thread seems kinda pointless.

People who want their AIM to be known will add it into their profile, generating the little AIM icon below their username.

I used to have mine, then I started getting IMs from all sorts of weird people. So I removed it.

Its also a bad idea as scammers will collect it and you'll get a crapton of porn spammers IMing you.
