I am looking to buy a monitor to replace my HP W2207 which was a TN display, but looking for something that's a better quality, so looking for either a S-PVA or S-IPS display.

Does anyone know what type of panels these 2 monitors use?

Every 22" panel uses a TN display. Perfectly OK for most uses, not so if colour accuracy given a reasonable degree of head movement is crucial of course.

I don't completely agree with this. I don't do much 'colour accuracy' work but when I had a HP 22" TN display, the colours were noticably bad. Ok, I do tend to notice the smallest imperfections, but it was quite obvious to be honest.

I would never buy a TN display again.

Thanks for the replies
