Of Unrecoverable--And Shared Library--Errors

I love Panther. But after Archiving and Installing the new OS, I noticed (in addition to great speed improvements etc.) that the .Mac Backup (red umbrella icon) now fails to launch and informs of "an unrecoverable system error". Also, during the initial startup of the OS, another message informed of the Transport Monitor (a Palm desktop app that launches on startup) experiencing a "shared library error" and being unable to launch. In fairness to Panther, the shared library message I've had before on jaguar too, can't remember how I solved it, may have just reinstalled Palm Desktop. But any help with these issues would be much appreciated. Thanks!
