Got a new desktop for the upcoming holiday? Why not post it!
Who knows, maybe this'll keep anyone from posting a "November Desktops" thread until it's actually November. ;)

What a good idea pyrotoaster. I look foward to seeing what people will be using for Halloween.

Here's my Halloween Desktop from my Powerbook, Stark.
It's basically my favorite Iconfactory Halloween sets.

That's kinda cool, but ain't it a b*itch recognizing all the icons in the Dock? :p
Sure hope you don't change icon sets too often

Sure hope you don't change icon sets too often  it's pretty easy to do with an app like candybar.
and heh, it doesn't take too long to memorize your dock icon apps. i almost know mine more by placement than the icon itself, lol.

Well I guess your right, but the icon does speed things up.

It's not too hard to figure out what's what (for me at least). For instance, the green beaker is iTunes, and the iTunes musical note is almost the exact same green.
And shadowfax was right, I do use Candybar (great app, btw). I use it all the time for putting together a new "feel" for my Finder. I'll go to something non-seasonal after Halloween, and switch right into Xmas mode after that (I'm one of those people who starts playing Christmas music in mid-November).

I'll repost my one from the October desktops thread. It's not supposed to be creepy or anything, but it fits the mood.

Is that from a military cemetary Rower_CPU? A very nice picture.

Yes, it's from Fort Rosecrans National Cemetary in Point Loma. A beautiful cemetary in an awe-inspiring way.

should see some good desktops in the coming weeks...
if i was going to change my desktop to a halloween theme it'd have to be something really freaky... yeah, weird & lots of gore. :D probably something like H.R.Giger, but with more gore.
but if i had a desktop like that i think i'd just go insane, so i'm not changing my desktop. :p :D

That's actually four different halloween sets from the Iconfactory (http://www.iconfactory.com/). The sets are Boo Buddies, World of Aqua After Dark, Ravenswood Revisted, and Haunted Hard Drives.
