Marlins Win the World Series!!

Well they did it, winning 2 world series in 6 years, not bad for a teams thats barely 10 years old.

Heh, I lost 3/4 of my interest when the Mariners didn't make it to the playoffs and the other 1/4 when the Cubs and Red Sox didn't.

As someone who can't stand the Yankees, I was very pleased to see the Marlins win, especially for 'Pudge.' He's been in the game 13 years now and this is his first championship. And Josh Beckett? One word: wow. It was amazing to see them win three straight against the Yankees with the last game at New York.

I love irrational Yankee hatred. ON another note it will be great to see them in the playoffs again next year probably winning another pennant... GOT 26??

I am actually a St. Louis Cardinals fan (living in connecticut, go figure) so I didn't really care who won..

I figured that before the Red Sox and Yankees came into war this year that neither team would win the World Series. (I'm saying this as a Yankees fan.)
