Why did the iMac's Buyer's Guide status change?

A few days ago it was "Don't Buy", but now it's changed to "Buy only if you need it". Why?

Yeah, I also noticed this. Pity, because I am returning my iMac 24" today because of a bad case of the screen gradient issue, and I want to buy a new one - but not before they fix certain screen problems!

I'm in the process of figuring out what I want to get. Either the "Extreme" 2.8 iMac or a Mac Pro tower. I keep holding out in hopes of them putting an Nvidia video card in it.
