Movie Rentals on TV with iPod Video Out?

Here's my question:

Is it possible to rent a movie on iTunes, transfer it to my iPod, then watch it on my TV with the dock's video out? If so, that would be cool...

I don't see why not. If it plays on the iPod then it should work whether the video is in or out! But give it a try and let us know for sure.
