hi,

do you guys know, if i can configure a mac mini to start automatically with front row?

a second question would be, what would i need to connect the mac mini to my tv?

i cannot imagine what type of phrases i would need to search to yield correct results. :(

What kind of TV? What inputs does it have?

Old TV - Apple S-Video out cable. Apple carries them as do a few other places.

New TV - DVI to HDMI cable.

Lots of other variations possible.

Which OS are you running?

Looks like under Leopard you can drag Front Row from the Applications folder to Login Items (in System Preferences: Accounts).

Under Tiger you need something more.

Use the Applescript in this thread:

And save the Application bundle as a startup item that should start Front Row at startup regardless of the OS you use.
