i want a p2p application, so which do you recommend?

The question you posted is asked frequently. Transmission is almost always the most recommended torrent application.

Transmission is a torrent application. Acquisition is a P2P program. That should answer your question.

If you want only Bittorrent, Transmission is definitely the way to go. Acquisition is more of a general P2P app.
