Iphone and suncom

Hello people I've bought a new Iphone and I've SUNCOM WIRELESS in Puerto Rico (probably in months T-mobile). My Iphone is not connecting to the internet with suncom. I've call several times to suncom, but they say that I need a suncom wireless smartphone to access to internet. They dont even permit me to have a data plan If I dont say what phone I've and if I say I've an Iphone I can't add a data plan. All I'm asking is for some help, I want to use my Iphone with edge anywhere, please help I hate suncom.

what firmware are you on? look up the apn settings for edge for your network and good is your best friend

I see the chart, but I am not knowledgable enough to know how to set that up. Could someone give me detailed instructions?
