exs24 and 64 bit

Hi all,
getting a mac pro within a week for use with Logic Pro 8. Does the Exs 24 support addressing 64 bit memory in 8.x? Thinking of getting 8 Gb RAM or more, but need to know wheter Exs24 can actually make use of it...

Yes EXS in Logic 8 on a Mac Pro can support all the ram you can throw at it. They re-wrote the EXS part so it runs as many separate processes as seen by OS X. So no limit. (Just your wallet.) :)
