Hi. I have an OTB 1.1.2 jailbreaked and unlocked bought in US with 1.1.2 running in spain. This phone was a gift for somebody that does not speak english. For some reason iPhone can only be set up in english, italian, french... but not in spanish. Is there a way to do it? a patch... or maybe 1.1.3?

thanks

I'm pretty sure OS X used on the iPod touch (which is pretty much identical to the one used on iPhone) has been translated to Spanish. So in theory it is technically possible.

However, as the iPhone is not officially available in Spain, I imagine Apple have limited the languages to just the countries where it is available.

which is odd, if you consider that the US has a pretty large spanish speaking population. but i guess steve didnt think he could make enough money off them.
