Hi,

I have close to 1400 songs on my iPod Touch. This equates to about 70 CDs.

I used the standard AAC Encoder conversion format that is the default in Itunes and only used up about 3.5 gigs on my device.

What would you guess the storage requirements would be if I used the Apple Lossless converter or the MP3 Option?

Would my 3.5 gigs be double the size? Three times?

I don't know the exact numbers but I'm pretty certain the apple lossless codec is going to be around 3 to 4 times the size of a standard 128kbps aac file.
