Is it possible to set the aluminium 24" iMac's screen resolution to 960x600 pixels? For Bioshock, my iMac is just a tad too slow to run it at full resolution and maximum settings. And since I'd rather give up full resolution than maximum settings, I'm looking for a way to have the game not scaled down too badly. So, I thought about setting my screen to 960x600 pixels (that way, the pixel mapping will be 2:1, which won't be too bad). But that doesn't seem to be possible.
Does anybody know why this resoution isn't supported? It doesn't just seem to be Bioshock, since I can't select the resolution in Windows XP itself, either. Any ideas?
