iPod touch itouch wont play song

itouch reverts back to main menu seconds after selection of any function, please help

Hardly enough info to diagnose your problem.

Restore it in iTunes. Then come back here.

i dont think u need to restore it, just try deleting the song via itunes, then resyncing it over.

iTouch reverts back to main menu

I am having the same problem with my iTouch. No matter what I click on, whether it be Music, Settings, YouTube, Pictures, after a few seconds, it goes back to the main menu screen. What could be causing this and how can we fix it?

Have you tried restoring it as recommended above?

ITS NOT AN ITOUCH!!!!! its an iPod Touch!!

But restore it, and try again, if not, take it to apple.

Haha, seriously? What's the big deal?

Like if I called the iPhone an iPod Phone, would you be appalled?

The whole point of language is that it evolves. That is an example of an evolution.

Honestly, I've asked my self it.. Why does it matter.. I don't know Its just a pet peeve.

its one of those things that just gets me... if wanted it to me an itouch, they would have called it, as for an ipod iphone i would probably just laugh at you.

well itouch sounds better than IPT. Or do we need to type ipod touch each time?

If we're being picky here, the abbreviation would read 'iPt'.

Hence official Apple's branding reading: iPod touch.

We were being picky, right? 😉

Every time I see someone call it an itouch, it reminds me of the old DiVinyls song.. "I touch myself" lol

If you're going to correct someone, you should at least be correct yourself.

It's an "iPod touch". Lowercase 't'.
