clicking hardrive

so every like 30 seconds my hd goes, click click click click... what is that all about, also, is it just me or when i type, it takes a while for text to show up, like i type and the words show up a second later, i mean i know its not a fast computer, but i mean text... and it takes like 8 hours to charge this battery... what am i supposed to do, thats some bs for a 1800 computer, should have stayed with my mbp... so can i send this thing back for a brand new one or what...

I would send it back. I have had mine 2 weeks now and no clicking at all -- knock on wood. The slow response to typing is the more distressing issue -- but they are most likely linked.

1.8" drives do this; the iPod classics and other laptops which use the same drive (such as the Thinkpad X40 series) all make the clicking noise. Theres nothing you can do about it.
