Tiger Dock Skin for Leopard

Is there a skin for Leopard, such as replacing files in Dock.app, that will make my dock look like Tiger's?

Also, could somebody email me the Dock.app from Tiger in /System/Library/CoreServices ? PM me if you will do this for me.

I hate to bump this, but is there a Tiger Dock skin for Leopard?

I love the Tiger Dock, but I also love stacks and many other features in Leopard. I really prefer Tiger's dock look over Leopard's dock look.

So, has anyone created a replacement? Is it even possible?
 
Well, it's kind of an in-between but, i don't know if you know, you can disable the 3D-ish effect with this command in terminal.

Did you try candybar? I think there was also a thread that posted people's dock mods -- pretty easy to do as you are just replacing image files.
 
I know about the 2D dock in Leopard. I don't care for the look.

I want the 2D dock in Leopard to look like this:

Is there a skin? Is it possible to achieve anything that looks like that?

I read about taking the Dock from tiger and putting in Leopard, but it doesn't function right and you lose stacks (which I love).

I'm just wondering if someone made a skin and if it's possible?
 
You could make one yourself, following the direction of http://leoparddocks.com

Its some files you need to change the images of.

I would do it for you but:
  • Am Lazy
  • Am bad at graphic design/basic image editing
  • Would robably break your mac
 
I tried making on in Photoshop, but for some reason the files don't save properly. Is there some setting I have to use to get the images to work properly?

i know its late but ill send you the one for mac is x 103 or 10.4 its one of them i caint remember but it works.
 
I found this on softpedia. Credit to Robert Izsaki. Place the attached files in the resources folder of your Dock.app. Repair permissions. Put the dock in 2d mode.

I was surprised this worked as nobody seemed to report anything on it.

Edit:

This modification is causing some strange behavior. Some buttons dont respond. eg Repair permissions button in Disk Utility wont respond. However, move the dock to the side of the screen and the button responds
I dont know why. Beware.
