I mean listen, I'd hit it if it was no strings attached, but honestly, who cares? I never understand why people care about celebrities or entertainment news. Every now and then I'll take a peek at what the hubbub is about just to see if there's some fun that I'm missing out on, but I just don't get it. They're just people, why is it any more interesting to know about who went to dinner with whom when they're celebrities than it is to hear about two other people going out to dinner whom you don't know.

I understand where you're coming from, but I disagree. If you make a move to increase your exposure as a celebrity, especially in a way specifically based upon looks alone, you need to be willing to take the bad with the good. She did a highly publicized nude photo shoot comparing herself to Maryln Monroe. These comments aren't coming from nowhere.

It's the same as if I think a singer on American Idol sucks. I don't have to sing well myself to be able to judge them.

Mmm, maybe. But I think that the rudeness and intensity of the comments should probably be bounded by a degree of politeness. And the veracity of criticism is definitely affected by the source's qualitativeness. Ie, if you lack the ability to sing well, then you still might be able to mostly judge sound quality, but you have no perspective on the actual difficulty inherent in the task, so it still compromises your ability to heap scorn on those who do try and have some talent.

I see what some of you mean with your criticisms. She's hyped so much, it's a little disappointing. Not that you couldn't have seen almost as much in the past, maybe just not as clearly. You can see where the self abuse is starting to show as well. That isn't age, it's cigarettes and over tanning, and who knows what else. Who knows what we didn't see pre-Photoshop as well. That being said, she's still rather pretty, and you know you'd all do her if you could. Even some of you ladies. :p And of course, I'm attracted to crazy, so even though she kind of disgusts me, I'd probably be into it. Not that I'd get the chance, or probably would want to.

I have to say though I do feel a bit sorry for her. Even though she brings a lot of it upon herself, the craziness and the attention, it's sad to see child actors go down this road. Ledger's death seemed to affect her, they were friends, maybe it was the wake up call she needed. I look at one of those pics where you can see her face clearly, and though her nipple is right there, I can't help but stare into her eyes, which look so sad, so distant, to me. I don't know if she's on something, or it's something else, or what, but it's not something I consider as "hot" as she seems to want to be. Sadly, that's the one thing she shouldn't want to have in common with Marilyn, but apparently does. If she wants attention (which she obviously is desperate for) this is not the way to get it. At least, not the kind she wants.

I've always thought she was rather attractive, but by no means anything amazing. Of course, as others have stated, there are ladies who are far more attractive, many of whom no one will ever hear about on the grand scale. These photographs aren't all too flattering IMHO.

That said, what's it matter if you have a girl whom *you* find amazingly beautiful? If you have a good relationship with an attractive woman (or hell, even if you are having sex with random "hott" girls you meet at clubs), than bravo, and say **ck it to everyone else.

As to the freckles, totally lovable, my current girlfriend is a frecklesplosion, and I love it. Lindsey herself, I have to admit, she's wearing her party lifestyle on her face, but people have turned it around, like Drew Barrymore. Lastly, let's not white wash the fact that Marilyn was a partyholic in her time, and was well known for her infidelities, so if you're going to toss those wonderful words at Miss Lohan, don't be a hypocrite by acting like Ms Monroe was somehow more pure and innocent.

I think I also mentioned before that this photo shoot wasn't Marilyn at her finest either, but the photos were cool. That's what I like about these- they're flawed.

I don't really know who she is outside of someone I hear about on the web from time to time. In my opinion, the question is less one about her looks than about why anyone felt the need to recreate these images with her specifically. Monroe was older, presumably, when her shoot was done and more established. It seems like a very odd thing to do IMHO. The photos almost seem like parodies, but I'm not sure who or what is being parodied.

Yes, I know it's cruel, but if you're going to put yourself out there to raise your profile, get some photoshoppin' done.
I don't think any kind of portraiture should be manipulated. I want to see the person as they are. Imperfections are hallmarks of authenticity. And I can't stand processed images. They have such a smugness to them. Yuck.

I think she has an amazing REAL body, and I think the freckles are cute.

I or any other Photoshopper worth his salt could take these photos and "enhance" her body in places. But here, they didn't, and I'm glad. I think it's pretty brave of her to let it all hang out there.

People seek attention - not news - does that mean it is OK to pull them apart call them a slut etc. I'm sorry but that is quite sad.
