Panther and Virtual PC 6.1

Hi,
Does anyone know if VPC 6.1 works with Panther???

No personal experience, but I read on mactopia.com that it should!

Yeah I ran VPC 6.1 with WinXP Pro yesterday, it runs.

How long does it take to load Panther in over Jaguar??? I've made all the updates so I should have the latest Jag on my 15" Ti-Powerbook.

Is it pretty seamless. I remember last Halloween, when I was using PC's, I loaded XP oveer Win 98 and it took all evening in between handing out candy<g>.

As an aside, I noticed that VPC 5.x runs tremendously slow under Panther. Of course, Apple didn't claim that it would feel like a new PC, but a new Mac. 🙂

I was able to Archive and Install or Upgrade Panther in about 45 minutes.
