Hello, I'm new to the forum so please allow me one dumb question. 🙂
I have a G5 tower, 1.8 Ghz, single processor. My friend has a G5 tower, 2 Ghz, dual-processor- his motherboard just died and he has decided to sell whatever pieces he can.
Now I don't think this is possible- but it kills me to see those 2 beautiful processors going to waste when I have only one. Is it possible to install a second processor into a G5 tower? Would it require an entirely new logic unit?
