Hi there,

I was trying to install a word processor and it required that I update the OSX and various other utilities/applications.

After downloading each application successfully, the computer hanged (froze) during the installation of the OSX update.

The computer reset and now I get a grey apply screen (no spinning disc).

I don't really care about formatting the drive as there is nothing valuable. I don't

I have tried the following:

(1) Installing the OSX by holding C at start - tried CD (don't have a boot)

(2) I tried holding the option, ctrl, shift, del combination at start up (nothing)

My question is, how do I install my OSX discs from CD bootup, or are there any other options available.

Can I enter into a bios to format?

Thanks for your assistance in advance.
