I just got the Apple Keyboard and I want to add shortcuts to pause and skip my music and iTunes. I know I already have those two shortcut buttons preprogrammed into my keyboard, but I'd like to have them for the F18 and F19 keys so they are much easier to reach coming off my mouse. Instead of going to the middle of the keyboard, I just have to go to the end of the keyboard.

So I went into the System Preferences and chose keyboard and add shortcut. I chose the application iTunes and added the keyboard shortcut. My Question, What do I put for the Menu Title to get the keystroke to actually work?

Thanks!

Hi!

Menu title must be the exact same (case senstive) phrase/word from the menu. For Play in iTunes, which sits in the Controls menu it would be Play as Menu Title.
For skipping forwards and backwards the menu title is Next and Previous.

Menu title is always the exact same as the menu entry. This works the same for every other application. You can even override existing shortcuts by adding custom shortcuts.
