Simple:

Just trying to offload a large number of refurbs.

Complex:

Dumping stock for the next revision.

They're updating the iMac. Period. (It had to happen some time, and it's been just over half a year.)

I agree with TEG. Sounds like they are trying to unload lots of refurbs.

maybe it has something to do with the Graphics Issues. All those computers they exchanged out?
