Hi Folks,

I did some searches and didn't find what I was looking for (u2) so here goes:

I've been a mac user for around 5 years (yah for me) so i'm not really a novice yet I'll openly admit that i'm not a programmer and haven't dove way into this OS. With Leo, i want to learn it very in-depth b/c I believe there is much to learn which can help my productivity, work wise and for our house (we keep our macbook pro in the kitchen for a variety of reasons).

So i've found this book by Brad Miser which is more for the intermediate to advance user:

and then of course, folks recommend David Pogue's book:

Does anyone have experience with either book?

I'm also going to buy this automator book b/c most of my tasks for my business are standard so i have a feeling i'll be able to harness that little robot alot:

Cheers,

I heard/have seen the Pogue book, and it looks to be pretty good. It has a lot of topics delving into some pretty technical stuff, which is nice, but not as good for the novice.

Edit: He has a new version for Leo out too, the one you linked is Tiger.

You won't find a better book then the Pogue book. David Pogue has a way of explaining things so they just make sense.

It's rightfully called "The Missing Manual; The book that should have been in the box".

I refer to mine at least weekly.
