Would you exchange your MBA for...

I just notice on the left side of my MBA, there is an approximately 1" light leak in a dark room. You can see in the pic what it looks like... Now, I'm not an exchanger, or returner, but to me, this seems out of sorts...

What do you all think?

Also, will they exchange for this issue?


It does look worse in my iPhone pic than in real life....

I probably would just for the simply fact that it could get worse or a symptom of bad manufacturing and other things could be bad as well.

if you're a perfectionist, go ahead. i personally would. apple isn't that anal about exchanges from my experiences.

mine had similar issue tho not as big as urs and its on the right side near usb :(

Aside from that, I'm totally complaint free with my unit..I love it...

I just noticed it tonight though, and now it's a bit annoying.

Right there, where the "gap" shows, is a screw. Get a 00 Phillips head and TIGHTEN UP the silly screw.

i kinda wanna exchange mine cuz beside the light pops out from the side I have a loud HD clicking issue on my mba. what i worry is that if I get an exchange, maybe the new unit has more problems :( You only get 2 weeks from the purchase day to exchange right?

I have the same thing. Wonder if it commons on other mba?

Do the apple store replacement the MBA on the spot like the iphone, or will they have to send it in for repairs like mbp?

The screw is two inches to the right and already lock tight.

I got an exchange today and same thing happen thos its on the power mag side this time. I guess its pretty common :(
