Why won't Warner Records CDs load on IMac???

Warner, Reprise, and other Warner label CDs won't load at all on iMac, it's maddening. Had to have wife load them on work pc to import to itunes, burn a disc and that disc did load so I could import to mac itunes. Why why why??
Sony/BMG and other labels load okay.

disc won't load/mount, gets popped out

Warner Label Group discs only for the most part, including a lot of Rhino Jazz from 90s. Is it the way they were presses/made? I was able to load them on pc at wife's work, burn to cd-r and then load those at home; but I can't do that with everything.
