I've checked with my school and they are all ill-informed. Does anyone know where I can get the least expensive version of Windows through a student pricing policy or such?

I need full version, not upgrade. Unfortunately, all of those are upgrade and the full version are non-academic.

The cheapest way is to get and OEM Version I don't even think Microsoft offers an education version.

I get Windows for free through MSDNAA. My school provides access, perhaps yours does too. Ask the IT dept, or bookstore.
