View Full Version : Mail won't let me send emails with new .Mac address

Mail won't let me send email's using my new .Mac email address. I am using the free trial, and will activate my subscription after the 60 days is up.

Does the trial not let you use your account in Mail, or what? The error reads:


Verify that you have addressed this message correctly. Check your SMTP server settings in Mail Preferences and verify any advanced settings with your system administrator.

Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be delivered.

That error would tend to suggest that the problem is client side (your settings are wrong) as opposed to something not being activated server side.

Double check the settings you were given when you signed up.
