iTune 7.6.1 is out, and again, a 0.0.1 update, users need to download the whole package of 44MB.
This happens to quicktime, or any other apple app as well, users are always asked to download a whole package for a tiny update
Do you think apple should offer smaller, partial packages that only contain changed components? rather than the whole packages?
e.g. Firefox(thunderbird)'s update is mostly partial updates, from 2.0.0.11 to 2.0.0.12 of thunderbird, download is only ~200KB (compare to the whole package of 8.7MB)
What are the considerations do you think apple was thinking when making decisions like this? and do you think those are legit considerations?
