I think this is one of the most covered rock songs of all time (if not the most). The first thirty seconds of the Hendrix version is probably one of the most recognizable rock songs ever. It does, however, lose direction after that. The original Dylan version is clean fast and simple but I can't recommend it over Hendrix's. Neil Young covers it and he's got some nice guitar solos, but again, as far as plain and simple good music, Hendrix's is better. If you want to hear a version other than Hendrix's, try Dylan's original from the John Wesley Harding album.
