I have been waiting to make the jump to a Mac for two years (I have been stuck with a Sony Viao), and have always found a reason to not make the purchase. It was the intel migration, then leopard, the aluminum iMac in August, then leopard again in October, then what will happen at Mac World, and for the last month waiting for a Penryn upgrade!! Finally tonight I had had enough and ordered a 24'' refurb an hour ago.
I could have picked up the same machine 5 months ago rather then obsessing over what might be around the corner. I agree with everyone in this form who has the opinion that if you need it, buy it. I have lost 5 months waiting for what might have been.
I cannot wait for it to show up. I just have to remember to refer to my Mac and not my new PC. Old habits die hard.
