Hi all,
I'm so darn happy. My MBP is in for repair and I was saving for an iMac anyway. I was missing it so much I thought what the hell, just got in the car and went and bought myself a brand new iMac 20" 2.4GHz. :D
So very happy!!! Just running all the software updates right now! Was so happy I couldn't resist posting :)

Awesome!! I just bought my wife a new Mini, and a 22"Samsung. For some strange reason, I seem to be 10 times more excited.

Congrats, I just love it when people get new stuff because I get excited for a reason. I don't know why though.

I've been a Windows user for longer than I'd like to think. A week ago, I bought an iMAC 20 inch and installed 4GB of RAM and have never been (computer) happier.
Why or why did I wait so long?

I Just took my iMac out of it's box this past Wed and got it all set up myself!
Had NO problems with 10.5.2 .. My Airport is good to go... No dead Pixels...
It's been working great! Hopefully, you will have the same experience!

I asked myself the same question a year ago

Thanks everyone. I freaking loving this machine. Although the display is insanely bright. I've had to turn it all the way down to get it as I like it. Very happy. I haven't noticed any dead pixels or gradient issues! :)
One Q though. It came with 1GB RAM, what is the max amount of RAM I can install in this machine? I did search this and it said 3GB but the thread was old.

I bought an 20" iMAC a week ago and bought 4GB of memory from Crucial.com for $113. Installation was only 1 screw away to replace the single 1GB with the 2, 2GB memory modules. Took all of 2 minutes and the iMAC came right up and recognized the new total memory immediately. I love Apple.
