Is is a must to use "Apple Cinema Display" for preview in FCS

I connect a 24" Samgsung LCD as the "main Screen" and another 15" Topcon LCD as the "digital cinema diaplay " for preview in FCP 6. And I find everything ok during mac desktop section (I can drag windows from one LCD to another)

However, when I press the "apple F12" in FCP 6 and play the video in the timeline, only the last frame of the video shown when the video is played to the end. (the 15" LCD shown nothing until the last frame reached and not showing the continous motion of the video).

Is it because of not using the Apple Cinema Display ?

you have to go to view->external devices (or something like that) -> all frames. You have it set to single frame for the external monitor. You have to enable all frames

I'm having a similar problem. Changing to "all frames" didn't help.

wtf is going on? It worked originally... :(
