I need a case for the touch, and I find the belkin's leather folio a good design.
question is, there appear two versions of the leather folio,
one is the old version with Velcro tap, but hide the light sensor above the screen,
http://catalog.belkin.com/images/product/F8Z227-RK/STD1_F8Z227-RK.jpg

another is the new version, which solve the problem by leaving space for the light sensor, but without Velcro tap.

does anyone have the belkin leather folio?
is the light sensor a important function?
Any suggestion or comment please.

I have the "old" one in black, with the velcro without a space for the light sensor...and the light sensor still works perfectly. If I'm in a dark room it still dims the display, while walking outside causes it to become brighter.

that sounds unreasonable but nice. I really like the velcro tap

My friend and I both have the old black one. Our advice: don't bother. We have had our cases since november and the velcro strap on both of ours has broken. In addition, the vinyl/plastic around the edges of the leather has started to chip away. I was very disappointed considering Belkin are supposed to be a fairly good brand.

There is also the DLO Hipcase Folio. I just ordered one a few days ago. Check out the reviews on Amazon.com

It has the light sensor opening, and closes with a magnet.
