Will Cingular 64k chip work in iPHONE purchased on EBay

Would someone please tell me if the 64k chip from my Cingular Motorola razor will work in the locked cingular/at&t iPhone i just purchased on Ebay.

Also, does someone know whom i might be able to actually contact and have them via the telephone help me unlock the phone if necessary.

I WILL PAY FOR THE SERVICE.

I really do not want to go to AT&T as i am told i would have to sign a two year contract. I share an account with a friend and my actual phone number contract ran out about two years ago and i am trying to avoid another comittement and just buy a phone and swap out the sim cards.😱
